TCSD 2021 Events Update

Dear friends and residents, as you are aware, pandemic guidelines and updates are still in flux. The district had to make some difficult decisions regarding the events that will be held in the upcoming months. While we cannot wait to bring the community back together face to face instead of virtually, safety is the priority. Please make sure you check out our new and ongoing virtual recreation opportunities and park improvement projects! Articles are available with info on each scheduled event. 

Keep an eye on new virtual rec opportunities available through Spring...more to come! TCSD has hosted a series of independent, distanced, and virtual events to promote community engagement while we are not allowed to physically gather. This has included the Tam Valley Players’ SIP This virtual series, virtual Book Buzz, monthly Nature Talks, the Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz, the Halloween Spooky Cruise competition, the Holiday Light Fight and accompanied Holiday Food Drive, and various seasonal Instagram photo challenges and competitions. TCSD plans to continue offering virtual and distanced events in the future if it remains unsafe to resume large gatherings.
