TCSD has five positions representing the unincorporated residents of Tam Valley on its Board of Directors. All positions are for 4-year terms and the elections are staggered for members every two years.

If a sitting Board member resigns prior to an election year, the Board will accept applications from candidates to fill the office until the next election cycle. Interviews are conducted at regular Board meetings.
