May 18, 2020

Marin County provides Covid 19 Updates on a regular basis. Information includes updates on park closures, short term rentals, facial covering requirements as well as general updates for the Shelter In Place Orders.

TCSD parks are open to active exercise such as walking and bicycle patrons only, not for gathering (with or without dogs, no picnicking, etc.), parking is also not permitted at this time. Bicycles are not permitted on TCSD hiking trails. Tennis and pickle ball are permitted following the County’s restrictions, and playgrounds and all shared surface items remain closed. The Board of Directors discussed TCSD parks and facilities at its 5/13/20 meeting and agreed that all TCSD parking and the Eastwood field would remain closed to encourage people to use the parks in an active way by walking or bicycling from their homes and not to sit, stand or gather together.

With all public space use, each person is responsible for practicing physical distancing and wearing their facial covering. If you do not feel comfortable with the practices of others, you may call the Sherriff’s non-emergency number, or choose another area to get fresh air.
