JOIN TCSD’S VIRTUAL NATURE TALKS!

TCSD’s virtual Nature Talks are held the first Wednesday of the month. Your amazing Nature Talk hosts are your very own Board Director and NPS volunteer, Steffen Bartschat, and NPS Ranger and Tam Valley resident, Mia Monroe! We have been very lucky to hear stories and discussions based on the experiences and expertise of our hosts, as well as guest speakers from various known organizations in Marin.

The series has covered a variety of topics so far, such as Coyotes, Monarch Butterflies, Biodiversity, Cats of the Marin Headlands, Owls, and Hawks. In the future we plan to explore other seasonal and diverse topics about the beauty, wonders, and wildlife in our local area.

Additionally, each Nature Talk starts with shared stories from our hosts and an update from Ranger Mia about recent wildlife projects and the status of local parks and trails. There is a Q&A session for questions not covered after each presentation. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to learn more about the area where you live, and the rich wildlife that share our habitat.

If you are interested in joining Nature Talks, please sign up by contacting Lara Zegart at lzegart@tamcsd.org. We release information on our monthly talks using our social media platforms and by using this email list.
