Kay Park Shade Structure Information

Based on requests for increased shade areas at Kay Park we are considering the following option.The proposed canopy is 18 ft x 18 ft x 10 ft (entry height) with a center post. It would be located in the picnic table area. The bottom of the canopy is 10 ft in height with the center top of the shade structure being up to 14 ft in height. The ribbons on the trees represents the approximate height of the shade canopy. The lower ribbon is the bottom of the canopy. The top ribbon represents the top of the center post. The proposed shade color is beige. The center post is steel. The Parks & Recreation Commissioners will be visiting with the adjacent neighbors to get their feedback on the canopy.
